Seriously valuable. Considerably far better than a hand blender - and a lot additional practical than finding the food processor out - excellent for chopping herbs, tomatoes, mixing batter, sauces and so on. Bought 1 for my close friend for xmas and they use it to make infant food. Its a superior dimension, not way too large, not way too tiny. I bought this to change a 'marco piere white' just one (which i assume this replaces), and even tho that died (making an attempt the chop ice feature) and was changed i would have no reservation obtaining one particular a yr at £[, its that useful.
Only minor problem was the lid - its a funny shape so doesnt fit in the dishwasher, that said when i did get it in there, the rubber seal shrank, so i shouldnt have put it in there in the first place.
Recommended by mum. Bought this on my mum's recommendation, as usual she was spot on. Great bit of kit. Used it most recently for the mushroom pate for beef wellington and as usual got the perfect consistancy i was trying to achieve. Not the easiest thing in the world to extract all the chopped ingredients from, but a small spoon usually suffices.
Alternatively, a litle water and a swirl does the job. Takes away all the effort of hand chopping to fine, should have got one years ago.
Great for some things, but not very small quantities. There are loads of good points to this machine. It's fantastically easy to clean with just 3 parts that you can just throw in the dishwasher. Being made of glass is great as it doesn't take on flavours, lasts longer than plastic and you don't have to worry about toxic substances from the plastic leaching into your food (ideal for making baby food). It makes short work of an onion and is fantastic for finely cutting up onion, celery, carrot together as the basis of ragouts and soups.
The main downside, and this has been a real problem for me, is that you need to be chopping the 'right' quantity for it to work. Stragely it does cut a single onion, but anything else in such a small quantity it just won't touch. The blades wizz around a few millimeters above the food or just spin it to the outsides of the bowl and then don't touch it. For making baby food this is a real pain. I wish it would deal with just one apple without me having to cook 6 or 7.

Russell Hobs Mini Food Processor. Great little product, very efficient for veg chopping,grating cheese and mixing batter. Also takes up little room so can leave on kitchen worktop. Really easy to clean and although will go in dishwasher i don't bother, just hand wash. .
Must Have Gadget. I do not know how i have managed without this super little gadget. It chops,blends,makes breadcrumbs etc etc. Not too big either and very well made. Buy with confidence!.

Rusell hobbs 14568 mini food processor. This is the very best wee food processor i have ever experienced and i have experienced a handful of. Its totally fab ,i cannot sing its praises more than enough i would very reccommend it to anyone who enjoys cooking but hates the mess of getting ready veg. I also use it to mix soup and its does a splendid work if not improved than any of the bigger food processors on the sector.
