I compensated £260 for this machine, brand new and boxed. A friend of mine owns a vitamix which i've used several occasions. The vitamix value £449, it's a excellent machine, but there's no genuine difference in the blending characteristics amongst the vitamix and biochef. I use the biochef largely for smoothies, raw and cooked soups, grinding, building peanut butter and ice cream.
The preloaded capabilities function really effectively. Depending on the food sorts you might be mixing, some smoothies might require an included ten-second blast. I have a tendency to incorporate pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and oats to my smoothies, which do call for an additional 10 seconds above the thirty-next pre-set.
