Does a Good Turn.. A compact and well thought out food processor. It stays put when working and doesn't creep across the work surface. It has enough gadgets to carry out most of the jobs. It copes with all the foodstuffs well whether mixing or chopping. .

• What is the difference between the newer model of Kenwood FPM250 food processor and the older one - 2012
  I'm not sure what the difference is...I think I looked at Which Best Buys to get the processor I have and I'm very happy with it. There is a lot of processors on the market some very much more expensive. So you have to look at what is available and what you can afford. Which do give you a idea but they are not the be all and end all of such products. They do give a fair test on all they test, so its a good place to start.
• is good for making cakes
  the bowl is quite small, so limited mixture can be used
• It is suitable for kneading bread dough and for crushing ice?
  I tried kneading some brioche dough with the dough hook and the motor started smoking and smelling bad so gave up. It's not brilliant for sticky hard-to-work doughs which will need more powerful motors or a dedicated food mixer.
• Is the blender jug toughened glass or plastic?
  It's plastic. We wanted toughened glass, but couldn't find a food processor that had one at this reasonable price.
• Is the liquidiser blade easy to remove? I had a model like this and it was really hard to remove it!
  I am on my third model, and have had no trouble removing the liquidiser blade. Turn the liquidiser over so that it's widest opening is on a hard surface and looking down into the rotating area you will see 'OPEN >' and 'CLOSE <' to indicate which way to turn the knives and gasket for removal. I always think the way to turn this is contra intuitive.

  yes, but soak dates in advance and cook them for a 4-5 min, before blend if wan a get the full flavour.

  I don't actually know as we've never used it for mincing meat. It's great for vegetables, though!
• Are the removable parts of this Kenood proocessor dishwasher safe? Thank you.
  Yes, I have put them in the dishwasher
• Will it crush ice
  I don`t think so. The bowl is plastic. For ice crushing you need something stronger.
