Very Good So Far For the Price.. As i said this was delivered very promptly by carrier compared to another order i placed for a very flimsy fibre glass mould!so far i've made bread, biscuits, sponge and hot cross buns with it. All good. Yes you do have to use the spatula to move the ingredient from the side of the bowl sometimes when the dough is very dry or small but i don't have a problem with the lever to lift the mixer, maybe because my hands are small? so for the price it is very good. And thank you for those reviewers who mentioned about those funny holes at the base of the bowl. You do have to careful with the washing up which i do by hand and not in the dishwasher. The only flaw in the design which i don't understand. .

I ordered my andrew james food mixer sunday 10th may and it came tuesday 12th may, i have just finished using it to mix a cake and i was really pleased, some reviews state that the batter mix is left around the side of the bowl but i never found this happened, i did use the flexible beater blade which is what is recommended in the manuel,as far as it being noisy i didn't think it was anymore noisy than using a handheld mixer, after all it is a mixer. The other issue was with the mixing bowl and holes in the bottom, i think they must have been aware of this as the bowl has no holes at all now and was fine when i washed it. I would recommend this mixer it is good value for money and does what it is meant to just the same as a £300 mixer, it obviously is not going to be the same quality as smeg etc but for most people it would be fine to mix your cakes or knead your dough for bread ( which is next on my agenda ) all in all i am happy with my purchase and the service i received as i also ordered another andrew james item at the same time but ended up getting it as a gift for my birthday and when i rang today about returning it i was asked if i had a printer which i do and was sent an email with a returns form to download and print off, which i did straight away and the item was sent to my local shop to be returned. .
