Burr Grinder. Superb grinder. Before buying this grinder i read many reviews and checked out the ratings others had awarded the cuisinart. Based on price/performance so far i would rate this grinder very highly. There are 18 grind settings and with a bit of experimenting it`s easy to find the right one for your own tastes. Another bonus is the compact size perfect for where worktop space is tight. Setup/stripdown and cleaning are a doddle and while others have commented that the grider is noisy in operation, i don`t have any issues with that. A Very Good Coffee Mill. We have had this coffee mill for several years and we are very happy with it. It is used at least once a day, often more frequently. We use ours with a bodum coffee press. I have to say though that it seems to be becoming more difficult to buy real coffee beans in supermarkets, as everyone is going for those 'added value' rubbishy dosette things (watch for the machines in charity shops in a year or two, like teasmaids and carmen rollers before them) so there is no shelf space allocated to bags of beans. You adjust the grind by twisting the hopper on the top. My only beef with that is that if you move the grinder across the worktop or wipe the dust off it you can inadvertently change the grind setting.
