Appeared like a useless gadget but found it to be truly useful. I received this as i have just acquired a kitchen aid and wished to maximise its use, my first ideas right after it arrived was that it would not be that superior. However the kids like the chips that it can make, and it implies that when the potatoes are peeled you can have chips inside seconds. The only attract back is that they are curved and it does generate some smaller bits, but on the entire supplied the time it saves slicing the chips by hand built it worthwhile. I also use it if i am prepping loads of carrots for dips.
