Just the Ticket. I've used this thermometer several times now and i find it's just great. I even dropped the whole thing once into hot caramel toffee apple syrup and thought i'd ruined it but it cleaned up beautifully with a soaking in hot water and some light rubbing. It's definitely a lot more robust than it looks. Well worth the purchase. .

Works Fine For Fudge. I bought this to make my own fudge. My first attempt didn't work too well because i was nervous about heating the mix up to the right temperature, and it seemed to take a long time. I should have been more patient, because when i tried again and waited until the thermometer reached the right temperature, the fudge came out fine. .
