Tefal mince and shred express. This is a soundly produced piece of kitchen machines and performs extremely nicely without a doubt. The different attachments are so valuable.
Yet another wonderful products from tefal relatives. Pricewise it was wonderful as i identified it just about everywhere a lot more highly-priced than amazon even in ebay. The only disadvantage i located you have to have press tough when you wanna chop challenging veggies this kind of carrot, potato, cucumber etc.
Incredibly pleasant if you have the time. Pro'svery strong constructionmultiple adapters to chop, shred and minceeverything will come aside simply and is dishwasher safecon'snoisyheavynot ideal for a fast joblike a lot of labor preserving gizmos, it's a issue of time. You do not use an industrial meat slicer for one particular tin of ham, and it is really the exact with this. If you have a large amount of chopping, mincing and shredding to do at just one time, brilliantif you you should not, i doubt it will appear out of the cabinet much. Bulk shop onions, bag and freeze, the identical with mince for pies, floor bacon for recipes, even mincemeat.
Use and rinse, and make some coleslaw to complete prior to you put it all in the dishwasher. I gave it five stars for construct high-quality, appears to be like and ease of use, not price tag. Just weigh up how significantly dwelling prep and cooking you basically do on a frequent basis just before you just take the plunge.

In Two Minds. Ah. I wanted to love this machine! it looks great, so sturdy and well-built, so neat and lovely, with its aero-dynamic, wipe clean body and its rainbow-tinted chopping wheels. I was especially excited by the idea of the sausage maker. I sent off for vegetarian skins immediately so i'd be ready and waiting when it arrived. Alas, the reality was a bit of a disappointment. I struggled badly with the sausage attachment - entirely due to my own ineptitude, i'm sure. There's no easy way to adjust the speed at which the sausage mix comes through the tube, it seemed to always be either too slow - failing to fill the skins properly - or too fast, splitting the skins and squirting everywhere. I'm not sure it's something the average home cook will master easily. I can say that the eventual results were very tasty, if inelegant, and maybe practice will improve my sausage skills?the choppers were another story. After much use and experimentation, i've come to the sad conclusion that they're more trouble than they're worth. I could not get it to slice mushrooms, the thick slicer mashed rather than sliced them. All of the cones became blocked and clogged very easily. In the course of chopping 2 onions, 2 cloves of garlic and a single shallot, i had to clean the dicer twice. Onions had to be cut into such small pieces to get them down the dispensing tube (even quartering them caused them to become tightly wedged) it made the whole operation pointless - another two chops of the knife and they would have been cubed anyway and in a fraction of the time it took to assemble the machine and feed the veggies through. And that sums up my overall feelings about this machine. It's so faffy and time consuming, assembling the thing, peeling the veg then cutting it small enough to feed through the machine, then having everything to clean on top - takes forever. It would have taken me a fraction of the time to simply slice and dice the stuff by hand, and i'd only have had my knife to clean. Maybe if you're maybe making large batches of chutney and jam. If you are feeding the five thousand and have large batches of veg to chop, this machine might be an aid - but even then, with having to cut things so small to start with, and the constant cleaning and unblocking, i'm not sure even about that. In general, my feelings are that it's far simpler to chop by hand - or use my food processor, which can accommodate larger pieces and is easier to assemble and clean. I can't say anything about the mincer, i'm a vegetarian, i don't mince meat. I really did enjoy the sausage maker, faffy though it was and awkward to clean after. I love tefal as a company, i have many wonderful examples of their equipment but in general, i'm sad to say this machine was a real disappointment, and not one i can honestly recommend. .
Good Stuff. I use the mincer attachment most on this and cannot fault it. It produces lovely mince and i know exactly what meat it is and how much fat it has. I have not as yet used the sausage attachment although i plan to. I have sliced onions potatoes and carrots, and whilst it does the job i was using the cone for thick sliced and they came out way too thin. I hate to think what thin sliced is like as i haven't bothered with it. This dropped one star off the score. The other was lost as i agree with another reviewer here that the feeder tube is unbelievably small. Onions are almost adequately chopped before they go in and when trying to slice potatoes to top a cottage pie, only the very smallest would fit without considerable cutting and this did not give the finish i wanted. On the plus side, if you happen to own a deep fat fryer (i don't) this would slice potatoes for the best home made crisps ever. .

Conclusion of Tefal Mince & Shred Express
Mincer facility is terrific - but the shred facility is a squander of time. I acquired this as a mincer and sausage maker, and in that mode it performs quite very well. I've tried the shredder with onions - ineffective - the hopper keeps blocking, and with garlic and ginger, which was okay. 1 point to notice, opposite to some other opinions the steel parts are not dishwasher safe and sound, the get rid of the wonderful glow.
