Good But Not For Suitable For Intensive Work. The mixer itself is quite well appointed. The bowl is solid, the beaters are easy to fit and use and the switches are simple to change in use. The 'hand' mixer itself is slightly wobbly on its stand, but does not fall off once fixed in place. The mixer has five speeds so can really mix things quickly. But you can only use it for a maximum of 3 minutes at a time without allowing the motor to cool - so you need to be quick to complete your task without waiting time. In most stand mixers the bowl turns by a mechanism. With this mixer it is the contents of the bowl that cause it to turn. If you mix something very liquid or a very stiff mixture then you need to turn the bowl yourself (or at least give it a starting push). Whisking egg whites using the 'whisk' attachments worked ok and was easily completed in the 3 minutes allowed. I followed the bread recipe in the accompanying recipe/instruction book and used the dough hooks to mix up the flour/water/yeast mix. I needed to turn the bowl by hand with this recipe and it failed to completely mix in all the ingredients without some hand mixing with a spoon. Bread making with this machine is easier than by hand - but perhaps only for an occasional loaf. .
